Michael McDermott has a combined 25 years of business leadership/management and consulting experience, including company start-ups, acquisitions & mergers, business turnarounds with a focus on organizational effectiveness, productivity improvement, cost reduction, LEAN systems, training, employee retention, and staffing. He has experience in a variety of high-tech and low-tech industries, service focused businesses, Aerospace, government, wholesale, distribution, consumer products, and services. His focus is on applying the immensly successful tools of LEAN/TPS to administrative, customer service and non-profit organizations. His specialties include problem diagnosis and pragmatic, cost-effective solutions.
